Innovations II Focused on Facing New Challenges
Philadelphia, PA - PerformRx, AmeriHealth Mercy's pharmacy benefit management division, recently held its second annual customer conference, Innovations II, in Philadelphia, PA. Clients, vendors and executives gathered for the two-day conference which focused on "Facing New Challenges in Pharmacy Benefit Management." Mesfin Tegenu, MS, RPh, President of PerformRx, emceed the event.
PerformRx's Innovations II featured speakers from within its own ranks as well as various industry experts, who discussed topics such as the Deficit Reduction Act, Pharmacy Management in Public Programs and the State of Pharmacy Carve Outs.

Gary Guller, a national motivational speaker, served as the keynote. He summited Mt. Everest in 2003, becoming the only person with one arm to ever scale that peak after leading a group of people with disabilities to the base camp of Mt Everest.
