PerformRx, The Next Generation PBM, and AmeriHealth Mercy to Present at the 2006 Executive Forum on Rx Benefit Management

Philadelphia, PADaniel J. Hilferty, President and CEO, AmeriHealth Mercy, will present Medicaid Managed Care and Medicare Part D: Challenges and Opportunities, on Tuesday, July 11th at 11:00 a.m. at World Congress’ 2006 Executive Forum on Rx Benefit Management, being held July 10-12 at the Intercontinental Hotel in San Francisco, CA.

During this session, Hilferty will highlight current challenges and opportunities in Medicaid and talk about the implementation of the Medicare Part D.  In addition, he will discuss AmeriHealth Mercy’s in-sourcing the management of its pharmacy benefit, and the development of PerformRx; the company’s PBM division that now serves nearly 2 million members nationwide.

The World Congress’ Executive Forum on Rx Benefit Management will showcase how payers are responding to the rising cost of pharmaceuticals with creative new strategies.
