Contra Costa Health Plan Awards Pharmacy Benefit Management Contract to PerformRx

Philadelphia, PA - PerformRx, AmeriHealth Mercy's pharmacy benefit management division, announced today that it had been awarded a pharmacy benefit management (PBM) contract by Contra Costa Health Plan in Martinez, California.

Beginning May 1, 2006, PerformRx will administer a full-service pharmacy benefit management program to Contra Costa Health Plan's 65,000 Medicaid, Medicare Part D and commercial plan members throughout Contra Costa County.
