PerformRx to Present on Managing Drug Costs for Dual Eligibles at Medicare Part D Congress
Philadelphia, PA - Mesfin Tegenu, RPh, MS, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Pharmacy Services, PerformRx, will present "Managed Care Perspective: Managing Drug Costs for Dual Eligibles" on Thursday, March 30th, from 11:30 a.m. to noon. at the Institute for International Research's (IIR) Medicare Part D Congress, at the Hilton Inn at Penn in Philadelphia, PA.
Many managed care plans are not accustomed to managing drug costs for the high-cost, high-risk dual eligible population. Plans with this population must have the ability to balance customer wants with utilization management and drug product cost control. Tegenu will explore best practices for handling prescriptions for dual eligibles and how to manage high-risk populations.
