PerformRx to Present on Specialty Drug Management at Managed Healthcare Industry Forum

Philadelphia (PA) - Mesfin Tegenu, RPh, MS, Senior Vice President, Pharmacy Services, PerformRx, will be featured on a panel, Managing Costs and Delivery: Who's Best Equipped to Get the Job Done?, on Friday December 9th, from 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., at the 4th Annual Managed Healthcare Industry Forum on Pharmacy Benefits' one day conference, Taking Charge of Specialty Drug Costs, at the Park Central in New York City.

Tegenu will explore the intricacies of managing specialty drugs; whether specialty drugs are best managed from the medical side of a health plan, the pharmacy side, or a combination of the two; and the potential benefits and pitfalls of utilizing a specialty pharmacy versus a PBM to manage distribution. Tom Baker, Vice President, Strategy and Analytics, The Zitter Group, will also participate on the panel.
